Do What You Love To Do

A friend of mine sent me a link to a Wall Street Journal article that she thought I would enjoy. I did! In fact, so much so that I thought you would as well. Pictured below is Nikki Delport-Wepener. She is a master embroider. She is originally from South Africa, but now lives in Hong Kong.
 Her work is amazing.
The article in the Wall Street Journal can found here,   http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323646604578404970737891006.html?mod=itp#articleTabs%3Darticle
She was commissioned to do a wall panel for a home outside of Hong Kong. It is well worth your time  to click on the slide show button at the top of the article, and take a look at her work.
She is currently working on a repair job of a massive French, Louis XV-era tapestry that will be hung in a Wynn Hotel lobby.
She has also written a book which can be found here on Amazon. It's quite expensive, so if you would like to have it, put it in your wish list and just check back from time to time. You might get lucky.
Here is a link to her web page where you can also find her books as well as kits.
Who says you can't make a living doing what you love to do?
