And The Winners Are.....

Good morning All!!!
Just to start the day off on a funny little note,
I saw this on Facebook and thought it was hilarious!!! Not sure what the story is. They seem to be too close in age to be sisters. When you think about all the pictures that we publicly share these days, I have a feeling someone is going to have great fun in the future with some of the things we've posted!!!

So, as promised, today is the announcement of the April/May Sew News magazine winners. A great way to kick off Friday and the weekend!

And here are the winners!

Congratulations ladies!!! Please email me at sewbussted@yahoo.com with your mailing info and I will get the magazines out to you ASAP!

One last little share,
When she was younger, my Miss Little Bit would love to crawl under the covers and snuggle in close to my shoulders. She hasn't done this in a number of years now. But this morning when I awoke, I felt something, put out my hand and realized it was Little Bit. I picked up the covers and shot this picture.
What a yawn!!!
Notice her black tongue. When I first brought her home, I took her to the vet just to make sure she was healthy and to get her up to date on shots. He was so intrigued by the fact that she has a solid black tongue. He told me that somewhere in the DNA of this little 15 pound dog is a mighty Black Chow. He said that it could even be as far back as a 1000 years. Amazing!

I hope your Friday is off to a great start!
Have a wonderful day :)

  1. AWW - how sweet -- Miss Little Bit -- just a precious little girl! And that photo is hilarious!

    1. She really is. I just cherish everyday as our days together are growing shorter and shorter. She has been the source of so much happiness for me :)
I would love to know the sorry behind that picture. When you think about it, that A LOT of fabric!

  2. What a lovely smile - enjoy the long weekend!

  3. That picture is priceless! You're right - when you think of just how much fabric every one of those dresses took to make - that's a LOT of the same fabric!
Your puppy is so precious. Have a wonderful Easter!

  4. Awe what a sweet baby! Its almost like she is saying "haha mommy you found me" after playing hide and seek. That photo one to be printed and framed. Congrats to the winners. Say the facebook post yesterday about the fabric, can you imagine if we all bought the same fabric, but the different variations we would all make? Would be interesting.

    1. Hmmm, I think you have a fun idea :)
Miss Little But owns my heart :) I have truly enjoyed every moment of our time together.

  5. I was explaining about the chow tongue to my daughter just the other day - she was aghast that a dog could have a black tongue!! Terrific snapshot of 'morning'!

    1. Now you have the perfect picture of a truly black tongue. And I'll add that she's the sweetest little dog :) She began life all black, black fur, black eyes and black to gue. Now that she's 15, she's so white. I say that when she was young, she could keep the sugar all to herself. Now she has to share it with everyone who crosses her path :)

  6. Gorgeous picture of Little Bit - one to cherish (as is she!). I don't think I have ever seen a black tongue in a dog before. How unusual, but it makes her even more special.
I laughed at the fabric picture before thinking much as everyone else had. That took a lot of fabric! I suspect I know what your idea is...

  7. Thanks Rhonda! So fun to be a winner! that tongue! , never seen anything quite like it, truly wonderful!
