A Video Card of Thanks

I made a little video to say thank you and let you all know just how much I appreciate you.
Be warned, I get a little emotional. Rather than delete it, I thought I would go ahead and share the real me :)

    1. Hi Cathy! Well, my motto is that nothing is difficult as long as you know how to do it, and that's what I'm here for.
Thank you for your lovely note :)

  3. Hi Rhonda, it's lovely to see you and hear you speak. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to make this fabulous blog. I have watched a few things on Periscope and think that it is a great tool. I have been thinking of putting a toe in the water too. Sending you and yours some very best wishes. Xx

  6. You are an amazingly productive lady who creates beauty all around you and generously shares your knowledge. Your bog is certainly one of my favorites. I don't see you making many things for children. Do,you have kids or grandkids? I can picture you being an awesome grandmother.

  8. Rhonda, I so enjoyed this video thanks from you. You are such a calming spirit and inspirational soul. I know it has been hard with all the things you have and are dealing with, but know that I personally enjoy your contribution to our craft and how you also offer such other insights to life itself. Thank you for being your and so open and giving. Andrea.

  9. Hi Rhonda, it is lovely to know you feel as strongly about us, your readers, as we do about you! The first post I read was the one that you turned a sweatshirt left by a foreign exchange student into a skirt, what fun!

  10. Hi Rhonda! I was so happy to see that you, too, got emotional in your video. I almost cried in my Thanksgiving video, and I didn't cut it out either. I always get very emotional during the holidays due to family issues, and I certainly understand your health issues. So thrilled that your eyes are well.
I have a question. Will you show us your sweet hubby one of these days? You talk about him so much, and I would really like to "meet" him. Do you sew for him?
    Hugs, Joy

  11. Hi Rhonda, What a sweet video and What a sweet YOU. I love it when folks just let us see them as they are! You are a blessing as well as an inspiration to so many, and I thank you for that! You have and continue to be such a blessing to me in all that you do and share with us - most of all - sharing a piece of your life with us all! I treasure you as a friend although we have never met "in person."

  13. Hi Rhonda hope you had a great Thanksgiving. None of that here in Australia. Work as usual. When I first saw this post a couple of days ago and saw that it went for 6 minutes I though "haven't got time for that maybe later". I really didn't have time as I skim blogs before getting out of bed for work. However, this morning is Saturday and I thought I must watch this. Rhonda is knocking at my door for a visit and I can't just leave her standing there! :) So, welcome in and I am glad you came to visit. I am amazed by your energy, passion and output. I want to sew, but after work, just want to rest. So my question to you is when do you get time? Do you work? Are you disciplined about tasks? Also if not too personal, I would love to hear about your flying. Did you/do you work as a pilot? If you are retired now, were you as passionate about your work in the past as you are now about sewing? Finding passion is something I am just not great at. I am an accountant…perhaps that explains that..lol. Hugs, from the other side of the wold. xx

  14. Hapyy Thanksgiving to you, too! I appreciate that your share your talents. I've even tried several recipes you've posted as well, and they're delicious. While I may not attempt many of your sewing articles myself I know that you've created a library for us which is fantastic resource. Be well, and Slainte! Meg

  18. Hi Rhonda!
    Happy late Thanksgiving!!
What a lovely post. While I wish everyone's life could run without challenges, it is good to know that many of the people I admire also face their share of more difficult times and find ways to battle through. I really enjoy your blog in all its aspects. I love the recipes, sewing, thought for the day, new blogs to visit, fashion details examined etc. I also love how you allow your personality to shine through. While that can be demanding for you, it makes it easy for readers like me to trust you.
In terms of a question to ask, it would have to be related to learning more on how you schedule yourself and manage to achieve all that you do.

  19. Thank you for sharing your life and talent with us. You are a warm and caring person that is reflected in your blog! I guess my questions is when did the Texas girl move and what motivated you to move?
