My husband and I saw a play last Friday entitled, "The Royale." The play was based on the story of the boxer, Jack Johnson. I really enjoyed the play. His struggle was about the fact that he should be recognized as the true heavy weight champion, but since he was black, he couldn't fight the white champion. Then there was the conflict with his family who felt that he should not push for equality, that he was just being selfish and that it would cause problems for them. So well done. My husband and I talked about it all the way home. So happy that I got to see it. This quote was in the play bill.
I like this statement. I think about the life cycle of a butterfly. Grace gets us through the struggle.
