Sew Chic, The Final Week and What's To Come!

The final post for the Sew Chic Valentine Slip sew along is up on the Sew News blog. I am so happy to say that I now have 3 beautiful new slips! In this week's post I talk in detail about...details!!!

The next sew along will be the Decades of Style Arches Skirt. The skirt is based on a vintage pattern. I shortened mine and gave it a little more modern twist. I think you'll like it.     Would love to participate in the Skirt Sewalong. But the postage for one pattern to Canada is $12.99!

      Wow, that's rather steep. Here's a link to the Decades of Syle website, http://www.decadesofstyle.com Maybe their international shipping is cheaper.

    That slip is gorgeous. I love the colours and the trims, so delicate. Nice skirt. Decades of Style have some lovely patterns. Xx

      I really enjoyed putting the skirt together. The arch looks a little intimidating, but it's really very fail safe.

    Thank you for the suggestion, Rhonda. Unfortunately Decades of Style charges a flat rate of $22, whether you order just one or many patterns!
