ReplyDeleteI would love to make some Gingers. I've not made jeans since high school and the Vogue Calvin Klein pattern. Those were high cut using Lycra denim from the Lee factory outlet and in a "teeny weeny now completely unrealistic size". And yes, I still have them.
ReplyDeleteSo many people have said good about this pattern. I wouldn't mind a copy to try.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to dive into jeans sewing for a while. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to try jeans sewingng for a while. Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteWould love to try these...barbara
ReplyDeleteOne of my New Year's resolutions this past year was to challenge myself; instead of saying, "I don't think I could do that" to say "I can do anything if I put my heart and soul into it." So when recovering from surgery this year, I taught myself how to frame weave and how to hook rugs with yarn (and I've already designed eight mug rugs; I just had this feeling that I was going to love doing it). I've also been designing my own sewing kits just for fun AND I did make a few knit skirts for my adult daughter (Rhonda, you actually inspired me not to be afraid of knits, so I did two long skirts and one short one; it was probably the trickiest sewing I've done as one of them was pieced stripes!). NOW, I've never made a pair of jeans, but my Gramma (who has been on the Other Side these many years) always said I could sew anything if I just followed the pattern (and sometimes asked questions). I'd love to sew a custom pair of jeans (even my NYDJs don't fit as well as I'd like). Just thinking of jeans being comfortable would actually spur me on to the challenge. Fingers crossed! And good luck to all.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the jeans pattern. You look great in those jeans.
ReplyDeleteWould love to try this pattern
