Monday Morning Inspiration

It's been a rather hectic weekend. Our friends were visiting with their three boys who are ten, eight and six. I had sat down to do my blog this morning, but I was up again quickly when everyone got up for breakfast. The day seemed to slide from one event to the other and before I knew it, the day was closing in on me.
As we all do, I thought about my past year over the New Year's holiday and as I did so I thought, "oh, I haven't done that much this year."  Then I went back over my blog and was quite surprised to see that I had done more than I remembered.

I encourage you to really take a close look at all you do. I think that we sometimes get so caught up in our daily lives and forget just how much we've accomplished. This past year began with an article in Thread's Magazine, a true highlight. We were in Germany for a wedding where I wore the ribbon skirt that is in the first photograph. There was the fashion show for Haute Couture. I was invited to participate in an art show, something that I never dreamed would happen.

I had the opportunity to participate in rescuing so many precious animals.
To date there have been twenty-two Fabulous Free Pattern Friday posts. We're quickly approaching the half way mark!!
All in all, it has been a wonderful year. The best part of it all though is nothing that I have done myself, it is the friendship that so many of you have shown to me through your comments and your lovely emails. You are my inspiration. Thank you.
Rhonda
