to this?
2. http://rhondabuss.blogspot.com/2013/04/we-won.html I stepped out of my comfort zone and took a chance.
And thanks to the help of so many of you, WE WON!!! The show was taped back in October and will air sometime in either February or March of this upcoming year.

A good year :) A very good year. Thank you for the support that you've given, be it in visiting the blog, participating in the Mary Bridge Pillowcase project, comments that you've left, supportive emails, all are gifts that you've so generously given. As I close, I'm reminded of two pieces that I love, both are from Les Brown.
Leap and grow your wings on the way down.
Refuse to live an unlived life.
You have been such an inspiratin this year! Out of all of these projects, I can't decide which is my favorite, they are all stunning. You have truly leapt and grown your wings this year.
ReplyDeleteWow, Rhonda. What a truly impressive set of accomplishments!!
ReplyDeletedouble wow from me too - amazing projects of which you should be proud. Happy New Year
ReplyDeleteGreat year for you! Best wishes for 2014 :)
ReplyDeleteI bought that Butterick pattern with the intentions of trying out some of your creations you so generously shared with us. It wasn't to be this year, but I have high expectations for 2014!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the skirt from the sweatshirt. WOW! I saw the skirt before I realized the fabric from which was it made. I am just in awe. Imagine this skirt in black and how elegant it could be for an evening event. The black and white dress is lovely, and the pillowcases - amazing. I am still working on some, just getting around slowly because of my knees, and can't spend too much time at the machine at a time, for the same reason. Can't wait for them to be replaced in the spring. Happy New Year. Thank you for all the enjoyment and inspiration I have received from your blog. I wish you all the best in the New Year, good health and much happiness - and of course, lots of new fabric and plenty of time to sew.
ReplyDeleteHI Nancy, Good luck with the knee surgery. You've given me a great idea with doing the skirt in black. One can never have too many black skirts!!! Happy New Year :)
