A glamour shot!!!!! A picture of what the set actually looks like. Maybe not so glamorous, but lots of fun nonetheless!
If you have started following the videos for the Sew Liberated Clara Dress Sew Along, this week's video is ready to view. There is a blog post that accompanies the video and you can find it here, http://www.sewnews.com/blogs/sewing/2014/04/28/clara-dress-sew-along-week-2/
Next week we will begin the actual sewing. I'm adding a lining to my dress and I am also adding a trim to the collar and hem. So be sure to come back to see what I add!
Check out the Flickr page and post your fabric choices! You can find the Flickr page here, https://www.flickr.com/groups/sn_sewalong2/ I would love to see what you've chosen.
Very cool! You look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, but I need to work on my appearance for the future. First of all, the lighting and camera makes me look like a stuffed little pig in that dress. In the future I'll wear dark pieces that aren't fitted. Second, my hair!! I'm thinking that I may cut it or figure out a style that keeps it out of my way.
DeleteQue bien estos videos. Me gusta verte en movimiento. Así demuestras aun más que eres una gran profesional.
ReplyDeleteEnhorabuena por este sew along.
Muchas Gracias Maria :)
DeleteThis is great Rhonda
ReplyDeleteThis is really great Rhonda. I do think you should tie your hair back. Wont be a distraction. Thank you for sharing. Anxious to see the lining and trim steps.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy. I'm going to talk to my hair dresser about something that I can do with my hair. I kinda hate to cut it :)
DeleteI though you did a GREAT JOB
ReplyDeleteThanks Marcy :)
DeleteWell done!! You are doing great.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara. As always, we are our own worst critics ;)
DeleteWOW. Rhonda , this si the first time I am seen a video of u.. and ur wearing the dress with a couwl sleeve. it looks nice. ha ah reading your comment about ur appearance. I love ur hair. yes hmm u can do a bit of styling for it. as a tip you can layer it to take off the heaviness and also to give style. its nice to see you wear the patterns that you teach. all the best.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing the "behind the scene" picture I would feel pretty intimidated by all that. You did very well with your presentation , kudos Rhonda! and yes, we are our own best critics and you saw what you needed to correct for future viewings. Well done! I so enjoy reading your posts, thanks for the video's.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love the B/L Ellisimo!
