Great turn of phrase, and I do love the picture too, having been born in the Texas panhandle. Did you ever count those on long car trips?
I think our paths MUST have crossed somewhere along the way :) We lived in Gruver, TX for about a year. I took flute lessons in Borger. It's a small, small world. And yes, I've counted windmills and oil pumps on long car trips. I should say, long, hot car trips ;)
