Singing In The Rain With Alma

Singing in the rain with the Alma Blouse from Sewaholic Patterns that is. We're finally getting a little rain and it feels so good!
Earlier this summer, Tasia of Sewaholic Patterns asked for testers for her upcoming pattern. I thought it would be fun, so I volunteered.
There are three versions of the blouse included in the pattern. The sleeves and the necklines are interchangeable so you have the possibility of so many different styles from the same pattern. The blouse can also be lengthened and made into a dress, although this is not included in the pattern, but I do plan to do it.
The blouse was so easy to make.
The first time that I wore the blouse was on a day that I had a flight to do. You can see my big dog crate in the back seat of the plane.
As you can see, the blouse is very easy to wear. Looks great with a skirt or jeans. Actually, it would be great with a fun pair of shorts as well. Hey, Tasia has a cute short pattern!!!
A day in the rain or a day in the sun, either way the new Alma blouse is perfect! You can find the pattern here.

  1. Love it! I look forward to making this pattern. You chose a lovely print - what type of fabric is it?

    1. The fabric is a very stable knit, not a lot of stretch in either direction. Once you make one, I think you'll want to make a slew of them!
