So Me Made Monday...I actually wore this outfit today. The shawl that I'm wearing is one that I posted for Fabulous Free Pattern Friday 3 years ago. Wow, where does the time go??? You can get the instructions for the shawl here.
The jacket is a double faced quilted fabric.
The jacket is an old Vogue pattern. Easy to make. If I can find the pattern, I'll post the number.
I finished off the interior seams with a red binding. Pretty on and pretty off :)
If you would like to show off something that you made and wore this past week, please do so below. Remember, the garment doesn't need to be made during the past week, just worn during the past week. Let the world know that you not only sew, but that you actually wear what you make!!! Just click on the link below and link up!
What a fabulous ensemble, Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteFrom the queen of fabulous ensembles :)
DeleteYour interior is wonderful. Great jacket, Rhonda, and I pray all is well with you now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bunny. I'm a little better everyday. Just a little shell shocked, never expected all of this. But lucky to have the situation found before it was really too late.
DeleteYou always look so great...well polished and put together well. Beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane :)
DeleteGorgeous! Where do you keep all you fabulous makes? Must have a huge wardrobe :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garments. (I would love to know the vogue pattern number of the jacket, please 😄)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to hunt it down and I will get back to you Ann :)
DeleteHi Ann, I just posted the pattern with links to Etsy and Ebay. It's Vogue 8483 http://rhondabuss.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-quilted-jacket-pattern.html
DeleteI love that moto jacket SO MUCH!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great ensemble. Just in time for the weather we've been having here. I'm still in shock about your recent news, Rhonda. Still, as you say, one goes on and with a renewed appreciate of all that is. I've jumped on to the Monday Me Made to get things going. And speaking of plaid...

ReplyDeleteBias binding and piping are REAAALLY cathing my attention these days. It's like I want to buy up a factory full of every color to have on hand. I can see where I am going to need yards and endless yards of it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get started on my Robson coat which will be my first entirely bound project! YAY!
Cheers,
Lyric
