Announcing Sewing Indie Month

Happy Thursday Everyone!! I have some fun news to share...I'm participating in Sewing Indie Month and you can too!
This month, 21 independent pattern designers are coming together to share tips, techniques and tutorials. Here's a list of who will be participating.

    1. Hi Vicki, yes, the rules say that you may choose any pattern from one of the participating pattern companys. It can be a purchased or free pattern.

  6. Great roundup! I am eyeing a couple of indie pattern companies--Salme Patterns and SBCC. I also might give the Cambie dress from Sewaholic a whirl, since I've been so interested in sweetheart necklines lately!

  7. I doubt want to sound rude - and there are notable exceptions - but many of the Indi patterns are over priced, extremely basic and not particularly original. Ralphpink and Paco Peralta are not on your list?!

    2. This particular group of pattern makers was collected by Mari Miller of Seamster Patterns. It's true that most are newbees with only a few basic patterns, and others declined to participate. We hope you'll join in for the sake of those notable exceptions?
