Peg Tutorial Postponed to Thursday

I had promised to post the  second part of the peg skirt tutorial today, but my days have gotten away from me and the post will need to be posted on Thursday.

I'm having a wonderful week. I spent today helping a very dear friend with a couple of garments for the Haute Couture fashion show that is coming up on May 6th. We made two of the Fabulous Free Pattern Friday pieces,
the flutter top which we made into a dress. It looked so wonderful on her. We made the dress out of a beautiful piece of floral silk. She looks like she is walking through a garden.
We also made this draped jacket. She had a piece of geometric printed chiffon and a matching piece of knit so we made the jacket out of the chiffon and she will be making a pair of pants. It will be a great outfit.
A few weeks ago I asked for a few pattern testers for this top. Yesterday I received an email from one of the testers and she had made the top into a dress and was very pleased with the outcome. I'll post her picture soon.
This afternoon I received a call from a friend who volunteered to test the top. She forwarded the beautiful pictures of her daughter in the top that she did. She too was very pleased with the pattern. Yea!!!
This is a close up of the sleeve that stands away from the shoulder.
Another friend emailed a picture of a skirt she made which I think is going to be part of a Fabulous Free Pattern Friday post in the future so I won't spoil it by posting her picture. Let me just say though that her skirt is really wonderful.
So please forgive my tardiness. See you tomorrow for the Wednesday Showcase.
Have a wonderful evening.

  2. Rhonda, I love this top! When do you think that the pattern will be ready? (I remember reading about the scaling issue a few weeks ago.)
