The first episode of Sewbussted's Material Witness is up!!!
As I said in the preliminary video, it's not perfect, far from it, but rather than wait until everything is perfect, I decided to just start :) I love podcasts, and the podcasts that I enjoy the most have an attached video. It's fun to actually see a person. The videos will be kept to approximately 30 minutes, not too long, and not too short.

Wow, Rhonda what talent you both have. Your interview really resonated with me. Sewing has been a part of me since I first began on my mother's treadle sewing machine. I'm looking forward to your next interview. Can't wait.

Rhonda, Congratulations on your new series. This is great, and thank you so much for broadening our horizons as it relates to sewing and another crafts. As you know I had an opportunity to meet Bryan and see his beautiful garments. I hope to continue to learn and be inspired by you and others.
ReplyDeleteWonderful interview! The chat was very interesting. You and Brian certainly had good training in the fashion field. I often look at some of the collections young designers come up with and wonder how they plan to make a living with such unwearable (and non fitting) items. The whole objective of design is to make something Unique, sure, but flattering. I hope you and Brian are not the last design graduates who know how to tailor. lol.

ReplyDeleteRhonda, I just now had a chance to watch (school has been closed because of snow). I really enjoyed the first episode. It was like watching a conversation, very natural and down to earth. Thank you for sharing one of your friends with us. And it was interesting to see Mr Osburn lived in Charlotte for a short time. Wish I could have met him.
