Mother's Day is about the women who care for their own families 

AND

 the women who care for the lost, the abandoned, the lonely, the broken, and the needy children and adults in this world. 

Mother's Day is about the women who reflect God's love in what they do everyday, tasks that are challenging, sometimes glorious, but mostly mundane.
