A Little Temptation On This Thursday Morning

The great thing about the internet, blogs, Facebook, Pinterest, is that they all open up our world. The bad thing about all that is available is that it opens up our world and creates lots of temptation!!
Yesterday I received an email from Design Sponge, another temptation laden site :). They showcased a new designer out of Australia, heads up all you ladies who live in Australia!! The fabrics that they are producing are fabulous. Take a look.

You can find more here, http://rouse-phillips.myshopify.com/collections/rouse-phillips-100-cotton-fabric. The fabrics are all 100% cotton and approximately 66" wide. They are intended for home dec, but when did that ever stop us!! They are a bit pricey, but for a special project, they just might be worth it. Here's a link to the entire site,  http://rouse-phillips.myshopify.com/. Take a little time to click through what they are doing. I found the company to be quite interesting. They are based in Darlinghurst, Australia.
Now, if that weren't enough temptation, Design Sponge had a wonderful article today on this company,  http://www.suturno.net/web/. Take a look at their scarves.

Not that I want to take any business away from the company, but I really think this would be something fairly easy to replicate. I especially love the lips! Paint on a lot of different lipsticks and smack away!!
So, hopefully I haven't tempted you too much :), but I think interesting fabric and fun ideas are always nice to see.
Enjoy!
Rhonda

    1. Me too! I want to try and replicate the lips. Even if I don't succeed, it'll be a lot of fun :)

  5. Rhonda, how will you set the lipsticked fabric?

    1. I'm still thinking about it :). I thought that I would be sure to use lipstick that stains, and then go from there. I just have figured out exactly how to really set it, but I'm sure it can be done. Don't worry, when I figure it out, I will post it:)

  6. Could it be set with vinegar and an ironing?
