Today's the day! I remember when I was in the first grade, doing the math to figure out how old I would be in the year 2000. The first thought that came to me was "wow, I'll be so old!!" It didn't feel old at all when I the year finally arrived. Now, in all fairness to the six year old me, twenty seemed old at that point. Now here I am, twelve years past that 2000 year mark, and life is good. I'm still here and there's so much more to do!!

So today I get to give away my first piece of fabric. You ladies came out of the woodwork which makes this all the more exciting for me.  

I should be embarrassed, but this is the little box I'm using for the drawing. The name of each person who responded and wanted a chance to win was put in my little box. Nothing high tech here!!

Today I am giving away 3 yards of the black wool crepe. Now who doesn't like black wool crepe??  

Just like the camel, it's 60" wide. Great piece of fabric. Lovely drape.
