December Birthday Celebration Day 3

I am so happy that Becki of http://beccabeckstuff.blogspot.com/ gave me the idea for this little, almost month long giveaway because I'm truly enjoying hearing from so many of you :) We have our second winner and it's
What a fun name, Bobbie Bentneedle!!! I think we can all claim that name from time to time, I know I can. Actually, my name is more like Miss Broken Needle :( So, congratulations Miss Bentneedle!!!! Email me at sewbussted@yahoo.com and be sure to include your address so I can get your little package out to you.
On to our third day of illustrations. A few of you have commented on how "80's" the illustrations are. Keep in mind that this book was the Spring 1989 collection. We were wearing those big shoulder pads longer than we thought we did!!! Well into the 90's. This is one of my favorite periods for fashion illustration. You may remember the piece I did on Antonio Lopez. He was truly the inspiration of all illustrators during this period  of time.
I have at least 20 more illustrations to give away, so the chances of winning one is better than any lottery drawing!!! If you would like to have your name in my little box, just leave a message. Remember,
1. You must be a follower of this blog.
2. Your name will remain in the box throughout the contest. If you win, your name will then be removed. So once you have left a comment, you will not need to leave another comment.
Good luck and may the giveaway gods be with you today!!!!
Rhonda

  7. Oh my goodness, Rhonda, I must ask to be included in your drawing!! I absolutely love-love-love the '80's style illustrations!! LOVE 'em!! Oh, heck - I just love the '80's fashions. Still. *grins* Lots of folks hated 'em, but I loved those huge shoulders and dramatic looks! Strutted my big-shouldered self all over, back in the day. Heehee! One of those illustrations would be just SO perfect in a frame on my sewing room wall, so I'd love to have a chance at receiving one!! (Oh - I have lurked your blog for about 18 months, and nhave been following for awhile now via Bloglovin'.)
Thanks for this delicious giveaway, Rhonda! :-)
