Good Morning Everyone!!
Once again I am doing something just a bit different for the Wednesday Showcase this week. I'm sure I don't need to introduce you to Debbie, but in the off chance that you don't know her, you can find her blog here, http://stitchesandseams.blogspot.com/.
A few months back, Debbie started following my blog and listed my blog as one of the blogs that she visits. Well, miracles of miracles, she sent tons of traffic to my blog!! Thank you thank you!!!!!! Soon after she started following my blog, she sadly lost her job. Like so many, I was heart broken for her. I'll jump to the good news quickly, she just started her new job this week!!! Such wonderful news.
I was initially introduced to Debbie when Kay of http://kaythesewinglawyer.blogspot.com/ made this wallet using a pattern she purchased from Debbie. You can see her post about the wallet here, http://kaythesewinglawyer.blogspot.com/2011/09/ooo-rah-wallet.html
At the moment, Debbie's Etsy shop is down, but I'm sure it won't take much coaxing to get her to once again list the wallet. As we all know, loss of a job can be a huge setback and this is a way that we can help her to get back on her feet. The pattern would make a great gift for any sewist, and would be a great giveaway for a sew club or ASG meeting. Debbie is quite generous about the pattern as she gives permission for you to make as many as you want and even sell them. If you do buy a pattern, please don't makes copies and pass them out. That just isn't fair. So, pop on over to Debbie's blog and leave a message that you would like to purchase her OOORAH Wallet pattern and let's help a fellow sewist and ourselves to a fun little pattern!
