Good Morning and welcome to Wednesday!!
Hope your week is going well. It's beyond hot here in Chicago, but thankfully, the weather is supposed to break in the next day or so. I know there are those of you who run an air conditioner all summer long, but for us, it is unusual to have to use the air conditioner this much so early in the summer. I've already begun to have thoughts of snow!! Thank God for air conditioning.
Today, as usual, I want to introduce you to two lovely ladies who sew their hearts out. First up is Carol of
http://miasews.blogspot.com/. She's a true Georgia peach! She has an incredible sense of humor, in fact, as I scrolled through her blog this morning, the little jokes she had posted had me in stitches. A great start to my day.
Her dresses are lovely.Sewaholic pattern, the Pendrell Top that she recently made. Very lovely.
Style Arc Patterns which you see above and below.
1 cup fresh or frozen mango (I used frozen today)
1 small banana, fresh or frozen. (I keep peeled bananas in the freezer for these. Frozen bananas lend a nice texture to the smoothie.)
2 handfuls of Bob's Red Mill unsweetened, shredded coconut.
I cup milk of your choice. I used organic 2% lactose free milk.
Juice from half of an orange.
Throw it in the blender, whirl it up, and serve. A couple orange slices and cashews go well with the smoothie.
*If you object to any texture in your smoothie, feel free to skip the coconut.
